While wandering at dawn with your guide in fantastic picturesque surroundings you may be lucky to come across “the king of the forest”- the Moose. You can also enjoy the excitement and peacefulness of ice fishing and if you are lucky you could even catch a few fish.
Why not stimulate your taste buds with local recipes of moose, reindeer and cloudberries which are served in the restaurant at Andöy Outdoor centre or in the Sami house lavvo. The outdoor centre was awarded Nordland countie most innovated restaurant in 2006.
While relaxing in our hot bath tub you may be lucky to experience the fascinating Northern Lights dancing over the polar sky.
Visit the valley of Forfjord to see Norways oldest pine trees while being guided on a owl safari. You can also experience this arctic landscape by kayak and have an excellent opportunity to see seals, otters, eagles and many other types of wildlife.
Other adventures can also be arranged such as kiting, cross country skiing and dog sledge trips.
