Comfortable lodgings Andøy Outdoor Centre welcomes you to a comfortable, cosy stay in tasteful surroundings.
Our new large house “Aurora”- is 140 m2 and is well equipped to accommodate up to 10 persons in five bedrooms. Two rooms with double beds and three rooms with bunk beds. There are three bathrooms in the house all are furnished with shower, toilet and washbasin. One of the double rooms has an on-suite bathroom, while one bathroom is suitable for wheel chair users, and another has a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge- freezer, sink, dishwasher, and all the necessary cooking utensils and cutlery to accommodate your dining needs.. The lounge area like the rest of the house is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The house is built in a traditional architecture with a grass roof and log style panelling.
We would like our guests to enjoy the midnight sun in the summer and the northern lights in the winter, so all our bedroom have access onto the terrace so that you can experience the beautiful view over the fjord and the northern lights dancing around on an arctic night. But you can also experience this in the comfort of the lounge area through the large panorama windows and the skylight in the roof.
Our cabins are also suitable for wheelchair users. While the midnight sun can be seen between the period of June 1st. to July 10th. The house “Aurora” is located in and surrounded by the nature, 40 meters from the sea, and 110 meters from the mountain.

The wilderness cabins, (Tyttebæra, Blåbæra, Krøkebæra)each of which is 45m2, are fully equipped for eight people, with sleeping accommodation in two bedrooms, a loft room and on a sofa bed in the living room. The fully-equipped kitchen contains a four-ring electric cooker with an oven, a fridge/freezer and kitchen sink.
There is a balcony were you can enjoy a beautiful view over the fjord (and the midnight sun in the period from June 1st. to July 10th. if clear weather). All cabins are located in and sorrounded by the nature, 50 meters from the sea, and 100 meters the mountain.
The living rooms are fully winter-insulated and just as comfortable during both winter and summer.

Our small cabin "Tranebæra" with two rooms – is 18 m2 and can accommodate 4 persons, 2 in each room. Each room has a mini kitchen-corner with a cooking top, fridge, sink, small dinning area which is equipped with some cooking utensils and cutlery, etc., and a bunk bed. There is no bathroom with shower, only one toilet and one washbasin. For shower you are free to use the service building facilities on the campsite.
Our rooms are built in a traditional architecture with log style panelling. There is a balcony were you can enjoy a beautiful view over the fjord and mountains (and the midnight sun in the period from June 1st. to July 10th. if clear weather).

This "Gapahuk" lies 3 km from Andøy Friluftssenter. You can spend the night here, or just make yourself a cup of coffee.
The walk goes along a nice track and if you are lucky you can see the elk on an early morning walk.
