Activity package: Angling course with activities

4 day angeling course; price pr person NOK 6750.00 / £ 1038.00
To stand by a quiet mountain lake or a beautiful salmon stream with a fishing-rod in your hand can for many people be just as soothing for the mind as meditation. Calm moments by a small fire where you can enjoy good food and experience the stillness of nature. This is what we can offer you at the same time that you will be able to acquire the knowledge you will need to catch fish. You will have the opportunity to be instructed in fly-fishing, worm/bait-fishing, lure-fishing and general fishing theory.

These courses are only arranged for groups of five to nineteen persons. This is a midweek course, arrival Monday and departure Thursday In the following period: 4. – 21 June and 13. – 30 august




Day 1 : “Welcome to Andøy Friluftssenter.”
1500 – 1700 – Arrival and check in at Andøy Frilutssenter
1700 – Welcome meal with presentation
1800 – Fishing theory in the Lavvu
2000 – Introduction of fly-, bait and lure fishing
2200 – Supper in the restaurant, and roundup of today`s activities.

Day 2 :
0730 – 0800 Breakfast in the restaurant
0815 – Lavvu; presentation of todays activities.
0830 – Fishing-trip with guide to Kringelvatnet(lake) and Kringelvasselva(river)
1200 – Lunch and coffee in the wilderness.
1300 – Fishing in Skavdalsvatnet(lake)
1700 – Returning to the Lavvo where we prepare and eat the catch of the day.
2200 – Evening supper in the restaurant
Day 3 :
               0730 – 0800 Breakfast in the restaurant
0815 - Gathering in the Lavvu with theory and info about the day.
0830 – Cultivation with nets
1200 – Outdoor lunch.
               1300 – Choose your own lake Mellomvannet, Kringelvatnet, Bassenget or Skavdalsvatnet
               1700 – The group can chose between the following activities: Kayak, Guided Bird-watching or more fishing.
2100 – A three course feast served in the Lavvu.
2300 – Bathing outside in a hot tub.
Day 4 : “Evaluation and departure”
0800 – 0900 Breakfast in the restaurant
0915 – Evaluation and checking out of Andøy Friluftssenter
1000 – Departure from Andøy Friuftssenter.


This trip demands that the participants must have the following equipment:
Good waterproof boots
Outdoor clothing for hiking
Waterproof clothing.
Light backpack 30-50L
Water bottle and cup
Fishing equipment  and fishing permits are included in the price
National fishing license can be purchased at Andøy friluftssenter

We can in addition to this offer transport for instance to and from the airport.
